Elise McCord

Teacher

Elise Started dancing in 2000, and studied tap and jazz in CSTD and DMIA. In 2009, Elise joined the All About Dance Company, and discovered a new passion for hip hop and contemporary.

Elise holds a Bachelor of Education, with a major in Health and Physical Education, a Certificate III in Fitness, a Certificate IV in Personal Training, and a Les Mills Body Combat Module and Certification.

Elise spent six months living in San Diego, California where she studied physical education, art, music, dance, and surfing. During this time, she also learnt old school hip hop with some of the Jabbawockeez, and attended the World Of Dance competitions where she had the opportunity to network with choreographers from the USA “So You Think You Can Dance”, “Step Up”, and “Stomp the Yard”.

Elise's professional career as a dancer has seen her perform at Barbagello’s Royal Queensbury Corporate Challenge over the past three years along with other events such as "Zero To Hero" corporate fundraiser "Hero by Night", held at the WA Museum.

Elise is also a health and physical education teacher at Safety Bay High School, where she has completed dance tours to Sydney, Melbourne, and Queensland for cheerleading Nationals. Her choreography has appeared at CUA, and other high school cheerleading competitions.
