Jason Kuhne

Director / Principle

Jason started his dance career as a student and teacher at the Susan Norminton School of Dance in Bunbury, Western Australia. Here, he studied in CSTD and ATOD (Australian Teachers of Dance). In 1995, Jason auditioned and won a place in the full time performing arts course at David Atkin's Dynamite Dance Studios.

Jason holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management, and a Diploma in Dance Teaching and Management.

As a performer, Jason had his musical theatre debut playing the role of Andy Lee in “42nd Street”. He has also performed in “Annie”, and played lead roles in “Crazy for You”, “Singin’ in the Rain” and “Me and My Girl”.

As a choreographer, his stage credits include “Stepping Out”, “Me and My Girl” and “Crazy for You”.

After working with Perth theatre companies and adjudicating festivals, Jason decided it was time to open his own school. The All About Dance Company opened its doors in 2003. Jason takes an enormous amount of pride in the values that are instilled by the team at All About Dance. Our aim is to provide professional level facilities to local dancers - be it for fun or to launch a professional performance career. Jason's time learning to dance was always in an environment where learning was encouraged, without the need for the old-fashioned yelling dance teacher.

He takes great pride in delivering a quality and fun learning experience to the upcoming professional performers of tomorrow.
