Katey initially followed in her sisters footsteps and went to gymnastics classes as a young child, but then turned to dancing at the age of six and hasn't looked back. She has studied in CSTD and DMIA (Dance Masters' International Association), completing exams in both syllabi for jazz, tap and classical ballet. Katey has successfully competed in many dance competitions, and completed her Theatrical Exhibition Sash exam, passing with Honours Plus.

Katey holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, in which she achieved First Class Honours, as well as a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management.

Katey nurtures our new little dancers as they take their first dance steps! Her passion and commitment to this age group is something wonderful to watch as she aids the children to discover what dancing is all about! Her versatility as a dancer and teacher allows her to work with a wide range of age groups across tap, jazz and ballet.
