Kerry-Anne Chestnutt-Berryman

Teacher

Kerry-Ann was born in Northern Ireland, where she started Irish dancing as a toddler in the church hall. After moving to Australia at age five, her parents were unsure if she would be able to continue her dancing in Australia. Around age seven, her family discovered the world of Irish dance existed in Perth, and she joined her first Irish dance school (now known as the O’Brien School of Irish Dance). She later moved to the WA Academy of Irish Dance, where she competed both individually and as a team at a state, national and world level.

During this time, Kerry-Ann worked with the younger children, teaching and coaching them through their dancing competitions.

Kerry-Ann holds a Bachelor in Education, and has been a primary school teacher for almost 10 years. She currently works at Settlers Hills Primary School in Baldivis.
